The historic former post office in Seguin, Texas was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds in 1934. The building is now privately owned.

The FWA constructed two sewers as part of the work done in Fairfax County. From the Washington Post: “The biggest sewer job in this area is the 20-mile Fairfax County trunk sewer costing approximately $1,500,000. There are two branches of the sewer. One starts at Lee Highway near Falls Church, and the other at Lee Highway a few miles beyond Falls Church which follows Tripps and Holmes Runs joining below the Barcroft Reservoir of the Alexandria Water Company. From that point the sewer follows Holmes and Cameron Runs to the lower part of the county and discharges into the Potomac...

The CCC did extensive work in the park, including building a day use area and an impressive log and stone picnic pavilion on the shores of Lake Huron.

"Shelter houses, a saddle barn and many sandstone trail structures are the legacy of the hard working young men of the Civilian Conservation Corps, Camp 8, stationed at Turkey Run in 1934-1935."

The second nine holes of the Milham Park Golf Course in Kalamazoo, Michigan, were constructed as a federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) project. From the Milham Park website: "The course is considered to be one of the best-conditioned municipal courses anywhere, and regularly hosts city and county tournaments.  The first nine holes at were completed in 1931 and turned over to the KMGA for operation and maintenance. "The construction of Sharon Woods Golf Course began in 1936. WPA crews did most of the groundwork on the project. Tons of topsoil were dredged from the east side of the lake for constructing greens. The course opened in 1938 when legendary amateur golfer Bobby Jones hit the first golf ball on May 27... Mr. William H. Diddel was the golf course architect of Sharon Woods Golf Course. "Sharon Woods Park was first established in 1932, making it the oldest park managed by Hamilton County. Many of the park's amenities, including the dam and golf course were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Various relief and infrastructure efforts were provided by the New Deal for this small New Hampshire mountain village, population 514 (1930 Census). From 1933 to 1935, the Public Works Administration conducted a survey for a proposed water project, at a total cost of $488. A federal list of PWA projects constructed mentions that the water works were built and then sold to the town, as town reports mention bond money raised to purchase it. The WPA spent $186,000 improving Plant Park in the 1930s.

In 1935-36, the WPA built a pool and bathhouse at Highland Park. The pool has long since been replaced. The stone bathhouse remains, though it is now boarded up.
