- Francis Recreation Center (former) Improvements - Washington DCIn 1942, the Washington Post reported the allocation of $32,650 to the Federal Works Agency (FWA) for new construction and improvements to the Francis Recreation Center, located at 25th and H streets NW. The Francis Recreation Center appears to have been wiped out by the construction of I-66 after World War II.
- Powell Recreation Center Improvements - Washington DCIn 1942, the Washington Post reported the allocation of $21,010 to the Federal Works Agency (FWA) for new construction and improvements to the Powell Recreation Center on 16th Street NW.
- Cuscaden Park - Tampa FLCuscaden Park in Tampa's Ybor City was constructed by the WPA in 1935.
- Sewer System - Key West FLThe FERA initiated construction of Key West's sewerage system in 1935-36. In 1935, the WPA took over FERA activities, and likely continued sewer construction efforts.
- Harry Thomas Sr. Recreation Center Improvements - Washington DCIn 1942, the Washington Post reported the allocation of $21,390 to the Federal Works Agency (FWA) for new construction and/or improvements to what was then the Eckington Recreation Center, now known as the Harry Thomas Sr. Recreation Center, in the Eckington neighborhood of NE Washington. As part of the District's new PlayDC initiative, the site was renovated in 2013. It is unclear what FWA work may still be visible at the site.

- Ouabache State Park - Bluffton INCCC Camp #1592 did extensive work in Ouabache State Park, including, among other things, building shelters and the Kunkel Lake. Today, the park offers a tour of CCC structures. In 2014, a new statue commemorating the CCC was installed in the park.
- Thirty-Fifth, Carpenter, and Pope Streets SE Road Work - Washington DCIn 1940, the Works Progress Administration (WPA) built new roadways at 35th, Carpenter, and Pope streets in the district's southeast quadrant. This project was part of a massive New Deal program of street paving and upgrades around the city of Washington DC. Most such work is invisible today beneath subsequent repavings.
- Natural Bridge State Resort Park - Slade KYThe Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) developed Kentucky's Natural Bridge State Park during the 1930s. The CCC built trails, shelters and stairways.
- Sewer Outfall Extensions - Washington DCAccording to the Washington Post, $220,500 was allotted by the Public Works Administration (PWA) for an outfall sewer extension in 1933. According to DC Water, there are 53 sewer outfalls in the District, so the location of the work cannot be known based on this source alone. This work was part of a massive New Deal era program to upgrade the sewers of Washington DC, separate sanitary and storm sewer systems, and install sewage treatment at Blue Plains. The outfalls referred to here would today be storm sewers not sanitary sewers.
