  • Huntington School - Huntington UT
    The Public Works Administration funded the construction of a school building and a shop for the Huntington School in Huntington, Emery County School District. Docket # 1003-R (Utah). The condition of these structures is unknown to the Living New Deal.  
  • Ogden-Weber Technical College Improvements - Ogden UT
    The Public Works Administration funded improvements at the Utah State Industrial School in Ogden. Docket # 1112-R (Utah). Now called Ogden-Weber Technical College.
  • North Cache High School Addition (demolished) - Richmond UT
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of an addition to the North Cache High School in Richmond, Cache County, Utah.  North Cache High School was demolished in 1999. The school addition, done in a subdued brick Moderne style, was designed by the architecture firm K. C. Schaub of Logan, Utah. The contractor of record was Johnson & Mickelson of Logan, Utah.
  • St. George School - St. George UT
    The Public Works Administration funded the construction of the St. George School in St. George, Washington County School District. Docket # 1223-R (Utah). The exact location and condition of this facility is unknown to the Living New Deal.
  • Payson High School (demolished)- Payson UT
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of a new high school in Payson, Utah, replacing the original school built in 1913.  That school building was, in turn, replaced by a new Payson High School in 1967.
  • Atascadero Lake Park Improvements - Atascadero CA
    In 1937, the Works Progress Administration (WPA) carried out improvements on Atascadero Lake Park.  WPA project cards indicate the following work: "Improve the recreational area at Atascadero Lake near Atascadero, San Luis Obispo Co., by improving earthen dam, and performing other incidental work, to provide additional parking spaces." We cannot ascertain what was done to the dam and the parking lots have been greatly enlarged since the 1930s.  Nevertheless, there are stone rings around trees, stone benches along the lake shore and stone drinking fountains that are characteristic of the rustic style used by WPA relief workers.  Further confirmation is needed.   • School Improvements - Scott City KS
    The National Youth Administration completed improvements for the school building in Scott City, Kansas. Pictured is a postcard postmarked 1946, showing a sign in front of the building that reads "Kansas NYA Project."
  • American Fork School Improvements - American Fork UT
    The Works Progress Administration built tennis courts and completed landscaping at the American School in American Fork, Alpine School District. Docket # 2799-R (Utah).
  • National Training School for Boys (Former): Catholic Chapel Improvements - Washington DC
    The Works Progress Administration improved the Catholic chapel at the National Training School for Boys in the Fort Lincoln area. The work was performed circa 1937, and consisted of landscaping, cleaning, and installing a new roof. The school was closed in 1968 and the fate of the facilities is unknown.  
  • National Training School for Boys (Former): Tertiary Road - Washington DC
    The Works Progress Administration built a road leading to the annex facilities at the National Training School for Boys in Washington DC, circa 1937.
