In the late 1930s Lily Furedi painted the mural entitled "Simple Way of Life" for the women’s large occupational therapy room in the Psychiatric Building of Bellevue Hospital, It was one of over a dozen murals painted by artists for the building with funds provided by the Federal Art Project arm of the Works Progress Administration. According to Wikipedia, Lily Furedi began her work as a New Deal artists with the the Public Works of Art Project. In 1936 Luis Arenal and his assistant completed work on the mural entitled  "North American Tropical Vegetation," for the First Lobby Stairway of the new Psychiatric Building at Bellevue Hospital. It was one of over a dozen murals painted by artists for the new building with funds provided by the Federal Art Project arm of the Works Progress Administration. It was one of over a dozen murals painted by artists for the psychiatric building at Bellevue Hospital with funds provided by the Federal Art Project arm of the Works Progress Administration. In 1937, the Bureau of Public Roads (BPR) provided a grant to contractor, G. Clay Gates, to build a metal guardrail on part of the Cameron-Desert View approach road to Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. "G. The Thayer Lake East Shelter Cabin is a historic cabin in the Admiralty Island National Monument. It is one of the several cabins the Civilian Conservation Corps built in the Tongass National Forest for public recreation during the 1930s, and is part of the Admiralty Island Canoe Route. As reported on a registration form of the National Register of Historic Places, the cabin was in ruins as of 1995. A homestead housing program funded with the aid of a $45,000 grant from the Housing Commission and a $242,000 loan from Subsistence Homesteads Corporation, sought to improve housing conditions on the Virgin Islands. The program included housing on farm land in the vicinity of Frederiksted on St. Croix. In 1934, the CWA performed repairs and improvements to the Frederiksted Public Grammar School.

The historic former U.S. Border Inspection Station on Highway 21 West in Danville, Washington was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds. Built ca. 1936, the facility was "sold and relocated" once replaced ca. 1988. The present location and status of the old building is presently unknown to Living New Deal.

“$50,000 water supply project at Charlotte Amalie… for utilization of salt water… for sanitation and for fire-protection purposes… Water is pumped from the sea into a new concrete tank 250 feet above the town… two new power pumps with a capacity of 12,000 gallons an hour force it through a new network of pipes to homes for sewage and to hydrants for the fire protection purposes… to overcome the problem of rust corrosion by salt water in cast-iron pipes, PWA engineers put a concrete lining in 7,000 feet of water mains and 5,000 feet of sewers.”
