The Works Progress Administration completed grading and drainage work for German Settlement Road in Elk District in Charleston, Kanawha County. The exact location and condition of this road are unknown to the Living New Deal.

The Works Progress Administration built the Roosevelt High School in Parkersburg, Wood County. The project was completed in 1936. The building façade material is local stone. The exact location and condition of this facility are unknown to the Living New Deal.

The Works Progress Administration built walls around Wheeling Stadium in Wheeling, Ohio County. The WPA-built structure replaced the old wall damaged by the 1936 spring flood.

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built additions and repaired facilities for Sherwood School in Sherwood, Doddridge County. The work completed by the WPA consisted of building four classrooms, an auditorium, two kitchens, two restrooms, new water works, and new walkways. The exterior of the building was renovated and repainted. The exact location and status of this facility are unknown to the Living New Deal.

The Works Progress Administration built a sewer system running from East Avenue, Charleston to Montrose Drive, South Charleston. “Construction of brick sewer to connect storm and sanitary sewer with sewer from East avenue to Kanawha river, also to connect under Montrose drive. South Charleston.” East Avenue is now called MacCorkle Avenue. The general location of the project is in the vicinity of the river.

The Cherry Lake community was a Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA) project to build a community for resettlement of families from the urban areas in Florida. FERA bought 15000 acres on which it planned to build farms, housing, and an industrial plant, withe the goal of creating a self sufficient farming community. Started with temporary housing then post office, community center, sawmill, family homes, etc.

The Works Progress Administration built a sewer system in Malden, Kanawha County.

The Works Progress Administration completed improvements for several streets in Grantsville, Calhoun County. The work consisted of building retaining walls, curbs, and sidewalks.  

The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of a dam on the Missisquoi River in Richford VT. Docket No. 827-Vt. The PWA supplied a $59,000 loan and $22,823 grant for the project, whose total cost was $87,177. Construction occurred between Oct. 1933 and Oct. 1935. The exact location and the status of this dam are unknown to the Living New Deal.

The Public Works Administration funded the construction of the sewage disposal plant in Saint Albans. The work involved building the main structure and the settling tanks. Docket No. 4744-(Vt.). The exact location of this facility is unknown to the Living New Deal.
