As part of $106,612 spent on 38 projects in Fresno County in March 1934, the Civil Works Administration spent $12,416.67 on the Crescent Weir, a flood control structure on the Kings River. 91 men were employed. By April, the CWA was being liquidated, but 24 projects like the weir were continued under FERA with compensation insurance by the sponsor. A hand drawn CWA 1934 marker is still in the concrete.

Under project number 665-66-2-153, the Works Progress Administration (renamed the Works Projects Administration by the time the project finished) built a new school in Milano, Texas between 1938 and 1940. The school had eleven classrooms and a combination auditorium and gymnasium. Per the Austin American Statesman: "Milam county received a WPA allotment of $43,098, and will match it with $38,578, employing 100 workers, to construct a new school building at Milano with 12 classrooms and gymnasium."

Several New Deal Agencies performed improvement work for the Livermore Falls School in Livermore Falls, between 1933 and 1940. The school was replaced in 1968 and abandoned in 2011 when Jay and Livermore Falls consolidated their school systems. 1933 "The CWA program which was started early this winter presented an opportunity to get some work done on the High School grounds. This will no doubt result in a great improvement in the appearance of this property and therefore be a real asset to the town." 1934 "Report of the School Committee The fiscal year ending February 1, 1935 was quite unusual in the experience of our schools....

The Works Progress Administration built the Greybull City Hall in Greybull, Big Horn County. The one-story brick facility is still in service today and retains much of its original architectural features.

The Public Works Administration funded the construction of the Dade County Courthouse in Greenfield. The courthouse was designed in Classical Revival Style by the architectural firm of Fred C. Bonsack and Harvey J. Pearce, from St. Louis. The contractor was C F Rinehart Construction Company of St. Louis. "The Public Works Administration (PWA) provided a $32,108 grant for construction of the Date County courthouse in Greenfield, Missouri. Total cost of the project was $117,960. Construction occurred between 1934 and 1936. PWA Docket No. MO 4610"  

The National Youth Administration built culverts on S. 1st St. in Merkel, Taylor County. A site marker reads, "Constructed by National Youth Administration 1940."

Floyd Bennett Field received a  New Deal mural, commissioned by the Public Works of Art Project (PWAP), in 1934, and possibly in subsequent years by the Federal Art Project. The location and status of these works is unknown to Living New Deal.

The Magee grammar school was completed as PWA project W1215. The project was approved 8/19/1937 and a $10,627 grant awarded toward a total cost of $23,615. Construction began 12/4/1937 and completed 3/18/1938. The architect was Edgar Lucian Malvaney.

The Confederate Avenue arch span bridge over Halls Ferry Road was constructed in cooperation with the Civilian Conservation Corps and the Public Works Administration in 1936-1937. It is a single arch constructed of reinforced concrete, and is faced with brick, and is the only extant bridge of its type in Mississippi. The contract for $44,641 was awarded to Coggin and Deermont of Chipley, Florida. Excavation work began in August 1936 for the planned 125' by 45' bridge. The final inspection was made in September 1937.

A number of buildings were constructed at the Vicksburg Waterways Experiment Station following its initial construction in 1930. Buildings constructed under the expansion of the US Army Corps of Engineers from 1933-1941 included Soils Laboratory Bldg. 1077 (1934), Tools and Equipment House Bldg. 7071 (1934), Booster Pump Station Bldg. 3065 (1935), Hydraulics Office Bldg. 3067 (1935), Warehouse Stockroom Bldg., 2059 (1935), EPD offices-Soils Division Bldg. 2099 (1937), Equipment Storage Building # 1 2053 (1939 and # 2 Bldg. 2055 (1939), and Paint Shop/Storage Bldg. 2021 (1941).
