This two-story, red-brick building, was funded by the PWA with a $9,395 grant, and constructed by the WPA.

Taylor, Texas's former City Hall, "an 11,000-square-foot building on Main Street between Fourth and Fifth streets", was constructed by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1935. The rectangular building, featuring Art Deco details, was used for municipal purposes until 2005. Despite $58,000 in efforts at that time to "repair the roof, clean, paint and put in new windows," the building fell into disrepair and the property was later fenced off. The building was demolished between 2013 and 2015, per Google Street View imagery. The former property is now part of the north side of Heritage Square Park.

Colonial-style Winter Garden City Hall on Plant Street, with palm trees and a flagpole in the foreground. This building was built by the WPA in 1937, and was torn down in 1979. It was located at 251 West Plant Street in Winter Garden.

Originally built as a high school during the New Deal. It now functions as the town's City Hall, as well as holding the Police and Fire Departments.

The former city hall building in Altamont, Kansas was constructed in 1937 with Works Progress Administration (WPA) funds and labor. The status and location of the former building are presently unknown to Living New Deal.

The Ada County Office Building was built in 1937 with funding from the Works Progress Administration. The architectural style is predominantly Art Deco.

In 1935, the Works Progress Administration funded the construction of a new city hall for Cedartown. Designed by Atlanta architect Otis Clay Poundstone, the Neoclassical Revival style city hall stands out as it overlooks downtown with Main Street (old US 27) curving around the building. In terms of practicality, this allowed for the addition of a wing in which the fire department was housed. The building also houses the police department and a city auditorium. What was then the Coweta city hall was built by the WPA in 1939-1940. The city hall has since moved, and this building now serves as the town police department. The Oklahoma Landmarks Inventory form for WPA projects in Wagoner County described the building and its significance: "A single story structure with a flat roof and parapets, the Coweta City Hall is...constructed of uncut and rusticated native stone... The clear allusion to art deco style makes the Coweta City Hall relatively unique for a WPA building. And within the community the structure is notable for its type, style and workmanship." "The Crystal River Old City Hall is a historic building in Crystal River, Florida, in the United States. It is located at 532 North Citrus Avenue, off U.S. 19/98. On May 29, 1998, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The building now houses the Coastal Heritage Museum, operated by the Citrus County Historical Society. Exhibits focus on the early history of the west side of Citrus County, Florida and include a 1929 diorama of downtown Citrus Avenue, a fish house facade, and an original jail cell. The federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed Dalton, Georgia's old City Hall in 1936. The building is still municipally owned, and serves as a secondary city office building.

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) provided the labor for the construction of the now-former city hall in Elmdale. As of 2023 the building appears to be abandoned. According to a historical marker, the city hall was built between 1936 and 1937 and funded jointly with the city of Elmdale providing $1,500 and the "Federal Government" providing the remaining $3,674.10 of the total cost of $5,174.10. Euclid, Ohio's historic former city hall building was constructed with the assistance of the federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) during the 1930s. The Work Projects Administration (WPA) constructed the then-new city hall in Grand Island, Nebraska. The building was dedicated in a ceremony on June 14, 1940. The city hall has since relocated and the stately, Deco-detailed New Deal building now houses a mix of public and private operations.

The Works Progress Administration built a new City Hall for Hearne in 1941. The former Hearne City Hall is located on the corner of 3rd and Cedar Streets. Built of native rock with white trim the building houses the city hall, fire station, and city council chamber. In 1936, the Works Progress Administration built the Armory, City Hall, Police Department, and Fire Department in Lake City, Florida. All departments were combined in one building.  

The Works Progress Administration built the Libby City Hall in the mid-1930s. Today the two-story brick building serves as the Police Department. The following excerpt is from "ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT PROPOSED PLAN OF MINING AND RECLAMATION TROY PROJECT - ASARCO INC." at Archive.org, page 285. It was written in 1978: "Libby City Police Department - The Libby City Police Department and jail are located in the Libby City Hall on Mineral Avenue. The Libby City Hall was built around 1930 as a WPA project and is of brick construction. The facility contains two cell areas. "  

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed the former city hall in Lordsburg, New Mexico. Operations have since been relocated. The site of the historic New Deal city hall is presently unknown to Living New Deal. The historic former city hall in Marion, North Carolina was constructed as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project. It was "begun in August 1936 and completed in 1937, at a cost of $25,000.00."

"James T. Canizaro (1904-1982)... in 1938 designed a small modernist gem in the WPA-sponsored Oxford City Hall (p.107)...a structure that pushed even more courageously toward the brave new world of international modernism" (Hines, 1996, p.108). "Above two round modernist columns supporting the covered first floor entrance porch, the defining motif of the building was a long, thin band of contiguous ribbon windows, curving smartly at the corner in a quintessentially modernist gesture. To the right and on the axis of this key design element was an asymmetrically placed clock of chic modernist design" (Hines, p. 108). The structure was demolished in 1976.

Situated in the center of the 700 block of Main Street in downtown Spearfish, South Dakota, the Spearfish City Hall is set back from the street with two large fir trees covering most of the front facade. The City Hall is a massive, square, two-story stone masonry building. Rising from a concrete foundation, it has rubble limestone walls with coursed red sandstone pilasters dividing the front facade into five bays. The W.P.A. constructed the former City Hall building, located at the northwest corner of East Center St. and South Adams St., in Tucumcari. The former city hall is adjacent to the current city hall, which located just to the west. The W.P.A. building later housed the police department and municipal court. However, as of 2018 the facility is vacant.

Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) laborers constructed a vault for the protection of city documents at the former city hall in Fitchburg, Mass. The W.P.A. also tore out the old jail and renovated other aspects of the building. The location of the building is unknown to Living New Deal.

The federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) conducted miscellaneous improvements and repairs at Bayonne's old City Hall during the 1930s.  One project involved painting tens of thousands of square feet of interior walls and exterior trim; another included work on trim doors, closets, ventilators, and windows. Additionally, the WPA beautified the grounds, replacing the topsoil and grass and planting bushes; constructed a retaining wall along the northeast side of the building to prevent soil erosion; and constructed a stone 'turret' around the flagpole. Professional projects included municipal document and map indexing, numbering, and copying. Bayonne's old City Hall has since been demolished.

A WPA press release from Dec. 1937 stated: "To provide employment for needy persons on relief rolls an allotment of $6,900 has been made ... for labor in cleaning and renovating public buildings in Tacoma, such as the city hall, library, and others... The work includes cleaning walls, woodwork, furniture and washing and repairing furnishings and drapes. This project employs mostly women and the funds will curry it until about June 1, 1938. Tacoma as sponsor is supplying materials needed with $740."

New Smyrna Beach's city hall was originally built as the city's library. The building was constructed by federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) labor during the Great Depression.

"This Art Deco-style building smack-dab in the middle of the state was originally a Water Treatment Facility built in 1937 by the Works Progress Administration. When a new water treatment facility was built across the street in the 1970’s, the structure was converted to the City Hall building."

The Brandon Auditorium and City Hall was designed by F. Boes Pfeifer, built by the Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.), and completed in 1936. The new Village Hall at Brandon was built by the WPA at a cost of $65,000. It has two stories and measures 116x44, a wing measure of 25x27. It has a concrete foundation and fieldstone exterior walls with cast stone trim. It also has reinforced concrete first floor slabs, steel beams and wood joists in second floor and roof. The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built the Karnes City City Hall and Auditorium between 1938-1941. The one-story, brick building was designed in Art Deco Style typical of that era and WPA-built structures. The City Hall is at the front, and the auditorium is behind it, featuring an entrance flanked by columns. The City Hall entrance is covered with an awning above which is a "City Hall" hall sign built out of metal. The top plaque reads: Work Projects Administration 1938-1940. The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built the City Hall and Auditorium in Leoti KS. According to Kansas Historical Society, "The Municipal Auditorium & City Hall located at 201 N 4th Street in Leoti was constructed as a WPA project using local labor between the years 1939 and 1942. This rectangular, one-story limestone building is significant locally for housing city government offices, the Leoti fire department and auditorium. It is also significant socially in providing meeting spaces for civic organizations such as the American Legion, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts."

Between 1938 in 1940 the Works Progress Administration awarded a marching grant to the City of Holland for a Municipal Builing and Community Center. Today, while City Hall has moved into a connercial building across the street, the Kuhlmann Civic Center in downtown Holland TX still serves the folks of this small town

Construction of Cloverdale's joint city hall and fire station began under California's State Emergency Relief Administration; it was completed with federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) labor.

In 1902 Mineola's city hall burned. For over 20 year they operated out of rental property. In 1929 the city bought this property and in 1929 the city started to build a combination fire house/city hall. The fire house was completed in 1931 but then the city ran out of money. According to a newspaper article, in August of 1940 the city applied for WPA funds to complete the city hall. Other sources say the city hall was completed in 1939.

WPA funds in the amount of $4,711 were appropriated for the construction of the City Hall in 1940.  The cost of the building was estimated at $8,100.  The building is two stories, of natural stone, and contains a garage for two fire trucks.  The second floor was utilized as an auditorium and city offices were on the first floor. The building currently serves as the Fire Station Museum.

Originally constructed as the Cass County Agricultural Society Auditorium, Weeping Water's striking city hall and library building was constructed with a $40,000 Works Progress Administration (WPA) grant. Construction was completed in 1938, though the building was not formally dedicated until Aug. 1940. The annex to Bayonne, New Jersey's old City Hall was town down by federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) workers. The building had been condemned, was in danger of collapsing, and the job of demolition was deemed "imperative" by Bayonne's Evening Times. The paper continued, "no one who saw the City Hall annex in recent years will have anything but applause for the assignment of these relief workers." The annex was in fact an addition to the west side of Bayonne's City Hall, which was located at Avenue E and 30th St.

"Beautification of City Hall itself was begun in the autumn of 1936, when a large crew of WPA workers started the gigantic task of cleaning the million square feet of stone composing the building's exterior. Twenty tons of pipe and 25,000 feet of lumber were used in the scaffolding, erected to a height of 150 feet. Fifty thousand gallons of specially prepared paste were used in one of the largest cleaning jobs ever attempted."

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed improvement work at the then-city hall in Gordon, Nebraska, which Living New Deal believes is the same Community Building in which the current city hall currently resides.

Among the many municipal projects conducted in Montpelier in 1935 by the Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) was the following, per 1936 city report: "A much needed improvement was made to the seats in the City Hall as a W.P.A. project. One thousand (1000) new seats and seven hundred (700) new backs and W.P.A. help installed and varnished them. City Hall tower and cornice was painted." Additional painting and renovation work was undertaken by the WPA the following year.
