  • Cleburne State Park - Cleburne TX
    The park was built by CCC Co. 3804 who were at the park from the spring of 1935 to Aug 1940. According to "Parks for Texas," CCC work includes the dam and lake, a limestone residence and maintenance area, entrance portals, and fireplace units. Additional work was completed by the WPA in 1941, including a bathhouse and concession building, plus a water and sewer system.
  • Clemens Field - Hannibal MO
    Clemens Field was constructed after the previous park was destroyed in 1935 and has recently been renovated. It is currently home to the Hannibal Cavemen baseball team.  It has been a minor league park for several teams and has seen the St. Louis Cardinals play there in the past.  During WW II, it was a German prisoner of war camp.  Rock for the walls that surround the field were obtained locally from the same quarry as the adjacent Admiral Coontz Armory.

The total cost of the project amounted to $63,000. Children paid a dime to swim. The pool was but one of several WPA-sponsored projects in Greenville during the Depression, including park improvement and landscaping proposals.   • Clifton High School (demolished) - Clifton ID
    The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built the Clifton High School in Clifton, Franklin County. The project was awarded to Isakson and Morrin of Ogden, Utah with a winning bid of $43,300 in December of 1938. It was completed in 1939. The school was used as a high school for about 10 years, then as a junior high school and elementary school until the late 1980’s, when it was demolished.

The school had a total of 32 rooms (eighteen of which were classrooms) and had wood floors. The interior cafeteria food service was part of the WPA lunch project. The school was demolished in 2019.

  • Cocasset Street Reconstruction - Foxboro MA
    Cocasset Street in Foxboro, Massachusetts was reconstructed as part of a WPA project that began in March 1938. This included the widening and resurfacing of the thoroughfare. The widening forced the removal of trees; the replacement of lost trees was part of the approved project.
