Constructed by the US Treasury in 1937-38.

The U.S. The Treasury Department funded the construction of the Torrance Post Office on Marcelina Ave. in Torrance, CA. Congress allotted $63,800 for the project and construction started in February of 1935. The post office was completed later that year. The building was designed and constructed in a PWA Moderne architectural style.

Another Colonial Revival style post office built under the New Deal is the Tylertown post office. It was constructed in 1940, the last of the five post offices built between 1931-1940 by the Columbia & Hattiesburg firm of Dye & Mulling. It contains a mural by Lucile Blanch, "Rural Mississippi--From Early Days to Present" that was completed in 1941.

The historic post office in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania was constructed in 1937 with federal Treasury Department funds. The $179,000 building, which was dedicated on January 15, 1938, is still in service.

The historic post office in Upper Sandusky, Ohio was constructed in 1935 with federal Treasury Department funds, under  architect John Moore. Louis Simon served as Supervising Architect and Neal Melick served as Supervising Engineer. The building, which houses an example of New Deal artwork inside, is still in use today.

The historic Downtown Station post office in Van Buren, Arkansas, was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds in 1936. The building, which houses a New Deal mural in its lobby is still in service. The building became listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.

The historic post office building in Wadsworth, Ohio at 165 Broad St. was constructed during the Great Depression with federal Treasury Department funds. An example of New Deal artwork that had been created for the facility has since been relocated to Wadsworth's City Hall. USPS has relocated its public retail operations to a facility located around the corner from the New Deal site (but connected to this building by an enclosed corridor).

The Wakefield, Massachusetts post office was constructed with federal funds in 1936. It is still in use today.
