The historic former post office building in Cocoa, Florida was constructed in 1939 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building is now home to the State Headquarters of the Florida Historical Society.

The Treasury Department funded the construction of the former Post office in Corbin, KY. The structure was built on East Center Street (now Roy Kidd Avenue). Today, the former Post Office serves as the Corbin Independent School District Building. The building is located at the northwest corner of Roy Kidd Avenue (formerly East Center Street) and North Depot Street. The building is a flat lot overlooking a sloping road that runs from Main (US 25) eastward to go under the railroad.

The old post office in Cornelia was built with New Deal funds in 1937. The building now houses dental offices.

The historic former post office building in Covington, Georgia was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds during the Great Depression. The building served the Newton County Library system for a time, but it is now privately owned.

Originally built as the Crossville, TN post office in 1937. It is now used as a private business. A mural originally painted for this post office has been relocated to the current post office on Old Jamestown Hwy.

What is now the "... Journal & Topics building served as Des Plaines’ main post office from 1941 to 1974. Even though the Des Plaines Post Office’s building had only been built in 1930, by 1938 the volume of mail handled by had increased enough to warrant a new, larger facility. Scouting the city for the ideal location, the Federal Works Agency of the Public Buildings Administration found it directly next door, at the corner of Graceland and Webford. Doylestown had outgrown its post office, located on East State Street at Printer's Alley. At the time, the town name was Leaksville, but during the 1960s, Leaksville merged with two other communities to form the present town of Eden. When the current Eden post office was opened in 1991, this post office was shut down. The building still appears to be in good shape but seems to be empty. The Section of Fine Arts sculpture that was originally installed in this building, now hangs in the new Eden post office.

The historic post office building in Ely, Nevada, was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds during the Great Depression in 1937-1938.  It is a classic "federal" style brick building, a standard design for many post offices of the time. The building was sold to private owners in recent years and is presently  known as the Postal Palace Convention Center, a part of the operations of the Hotel Nevada and Casino on Main Street. The interior has been modified for its new use, but some of the original lobby is still there (in 2023).

The historic post office building in Enfield, Connecticut was constructed using federal Treasury Department funds. The building, which was completed in 1937, was originally known as the Thompsonville post office. The building is no longer in use as a post office; located at 89 High St. in Thompsonville, it is now privately owned.

The historic former post office building in Erwin, Tennessee was constructed with Treasury Department funds. Located just down the road from the post office that replaced it, the building's cornerstone dates the New Deal post office to 1936. The building has been home to a florist for more than a decade, and it is also home to a sizable mural created well after the advent of the New Deal.

Constructed with Treasury Department funds in 1938, the historic post office building at 391 Broadway in Everett, Massachusetts now houses private offices. An example of New Deal artwork created for the facility has since been relocated to a post office in Boston.

The historic former post office in Fairfield, Connecticut was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds and completed in 1936. The building was sold to private interests in 2012; the building has since been highly modified though the façade remains largely intact.

"In 1906, a new post office was complete at 19 W. 1st Street; that building was razed in favor of the existing structure at the same location. Standing two stories high, this building is faced with stone along its 1st Street elevation, while its rear is sheathed with brick. The historic Fort Pierce post office and federal building was constructed in 1935 with federal Treasury Department funds. Its construction is sometimes mis-attributed to the WPA. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While it no longer houses the city's post office, the building continues to serve civic functions.

This former post office building was constructed by the Treasury in 1938. It now houses private real estate offices. A New Deal wooden sculpture by Arnold Geissbuhler now hangs in the new post office.

"This building was formerly the Gallup Post Office. It was constructed as part of the WPA project and still has the original carved beamed ceilings that are quite unique. This whole building is unique in that it exhibits a mix of several architectural styles, including Mediterranean, Decorative Brick Commercial and Spanish Pueblo Revival. This eclectic approach works very well, however, as the blond brick building is listed in the National Register as being significant architecturally as well as for its association with the civic history of Gallup. The historic post office building in downtown Geneva, Ohio was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds.  The building was sold when a new post office was constructed south on Broadway. The former site housed an example of New Deal artwork, which has been relocated to the community's current post office.
