The historic post office in Carlisle, Kentucky was constructed in 1941 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building is still in service.

It is also the site of Curt Drewes's three bas relief sculptures--"Dairy Farming," "Farm," and "Fish Hatchery," completed with funds provided by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts and viewable in the lobby.

The Carmi post office was constructed by the Treasury Department in 1938.

The historic Caro, Michigan post office was a New Deal project completed with federal Treasury Department funds in 1939. The building contains a Section of Fine Arts tempera mural entitled "Mail on the Farm," painted by David Fredenthal in 1941.

The Art Deco building features a distinctive staircase / ADA handicap ramp construction out front. Another modern addition is a pair of murals in the customer lobby, reminiscent of those which were created under the New Deal.

The historic Emancipation Gardens post office, a.k.a. Alvardo de Lugo Post Office, in Charlotte Amalie on St. Thomas was constructed in 1937-8 with Treasury Department funds. The building, which houses the only two examples of New Deal federal building artwork in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is still in service. The grand and historic post office in Chester, Pennsylvania was built in 1936-7 with Treasury Department funds. It was designed by Henry D. Dagit and Sons, with The Ballinger Company as associate architects. Dedication took place on August 28, 1937. The building, which houses an example of New Deal artwork, is still in service.

"A one-story, T-shaped brick building, designed by Louis Simon, government architect, and built in 1937. The building features brick laid in English bond. The historic post office building located at 28 Main St. in Chicopee, Massachusetts was constructed by the federal Treasury Department in 1936. Located in the village of Chicopee Falls, this was one of two post office buildings from the era constructed in the town of Chicopee.

Now known as the Downtown Station post office, what had been the main post office in Christiansburg, Virginia is located at the town's main intersection.  It was completed in 1936 and built from funds allocated to the U.S. Treasury Department.  In the mid-2000s it was targeted for closure by the federal government; however, effort by local, state and congressional leaders derailed that effort and the building remains open today.  The successful effort to maintain the building was in part a function of its designation as a Virginia Historical Landmark.  The exterior and interior plan of the building is very similar...

The design is Spanish (or Mexican) Revival, which was very popular in Southern California at the time. Still in use today, the post office houses a New Deal mural by Milford Zornes (see linked project).
