The Works Progress Administration built the National Guard Armory in Darlington IN in 1938. Presently, (November 2021) it serves as a community center.

A Public Works Administration grant, along with local tax revenues, funded the construction of Sherman Elementary School at West 51st Place and South Morgan Street in Chicago’s Back of the Yards neighborhood. The Veedersburg Scout Cabin is a community building constructed by the Works Progress Administration in Veedersburg IN in 1935. Further confirmation of the construction date needed. 

The Civil Works Administration (CWA) built the Artic Brook Sewer in Bangor ME. The 1934 town report notes: "The Arctic Brook sewer was enclosed from Broadway to Kenduskeag Stream, or a distance of 2600 feet, by a 36 inch sewer, at a cost of $51,530." According to earlier articles, during December, 169 men plus a foreman and blacksmith were employed on the project. A typical pay week would bring $2,153 to the men. The former Norcross Public School at 17568 Norton Ave S opened as a public school in 1938, operated until c. 1970s. As of 2021 being marketed as a residential project, but needs a total restoration. According to Docomomo, the structure is an "Art deco school built under the Works Progress Administration (WPA) of the federal New Deal, replacing a two-story wooden school. The brick structure cost approximately $46,000. Closed in 1970s." In 2020, it was listed for sale as a potential 3500-3800 sq. ft. residential adaptive reuse.
