My father, Donald Paul Humphrey painted a mural inside this post office for the wpa
Mary, I remember that mural fondly and it’s going to be a feature in my mystery novel set in North St. Paul!
Hello Mary Ellen, I am planning on photographing the mural and sending it into the New Living Deal. I think its important to photograph all these works of art from the era! Did your father paint any other murals? Did he paint any other work during his life? Was he a painter by profession or did he have some other job? My wife and I collect WPA artwork. Take care. dan Shogren
