Description
he historic post office in Amory, Mississippi was built in 1936-7 with Treasury Department funds. The building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, houses an example of New Deal artwork and is still in service.
Interestingly, the sidewalk of the block face in front of the post office features a covered walkway.
