REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
On September 7, 19,37, schools were opened in the new
four-room Village building with an enrollment of more
than one hundred thirty children.
The total cost of land, building, and equipment exceeds
thirty-nine thousand dollars. Yet through the receipt of state and federal flood damage and a P. W. A. grant of
fourteen thousand four hundred forty-one dollars, Hooksett has made provision for the children of two village schools at a cost to the taxpayers of only one building.
