Municipal Improvements – Danville NH

Description

Between 1935 and 1938, the Works Progress Administration funded a number of municipal improvements in the town of Danville, including upgrades for the local library, town hall, and cemetery; work on roads and forest sites; and support for a local sewing project.

REPORT OF THE DANVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY
During the past year there have been several changes and improvements made in the Library. The walls and ceilings have been repaired and whitened as a part of the W. P. A. project. This greatly improves the appearance of the room, and is much appreciated.”
