Description
Battle Creek, Michigan’s city hall received a new electric elevator as part of a Public Works Administration (P.W.A.) project. The P.W.A. supplied a $5,535 grant for the project, whose total cost was $12,441. Construction occurred between Nov. 1938 and Mar. 1939.
According to local officials the elevator was replaced in 1985.
