We lived at 10th and Brown Streets in Milwaukee and went swimming daily in Lapham Pool. My
sister was the cashier, my 3 brothers were life guards, and I worked in the women’s checkroom.
The pool was only open during warm days in the summer. In the winter we swam in the indoor
    pools.
