Cool history, there was an original school bldg per Wikipedia built on the site in approx 1900 but appears to no longer be there has undergone major changes to the point of non recognition.
I am 52 years old . I attended Ave E for 6th grade back in 1980-1981 school year
I attended Avenue E school in 1976-77 for 6th grade the one year I lived in Texas and made many friends there, I’m originally from Virginia but would like to travel back to Copperas Cove one day.
Looks different than when I went there in the 1970s. One of my favorite achool buildings.
