The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of the old Eureka Grade School in Eureka, Utah. The school was probably completed in 1939. The main two-story building and accompanying single story structure were designed by the architecture firm of Scott and Welch. The contractor of record was Tolboe & Tolboe. The style is brick Moderne, with a curved front on the smaller of the two buildings. The Allen Jay School Rock Gymnasium opened on November 21, 1939, on the school campus then outside High Point, North Carolina. Besides a gymnasium, the building had locker rooms, a library, and two classrooms. The project was completed using funds from the Works Progress Administration (WPA). Since the county school board could not fund school construction in 1937, the small community decided to build the gymnasium themselves with locally-donated materials and funding from the WPA. The Public Works Administration (PWA) funded the construction of the Myton Grade School in Myton NV for the Duchesne County School District. The school was designed by the architecture firm Scott and Welch. The contractor of record was Tolboe & Tolboe. The New Deal school, which was constructed c. 1939, has been replaced in recent years by a new structure at the same site.    

The Works Progress Administration built the original section of Round Top-Carmine High School in 1939 (Project No. 12646.). It was called the Carmine Independent School at the time of construction. An addition was built on the northwest side of the building in 1995 and another structure was added on the southeast side in 2018.

The National Youth Administration completed improvements for the school building in Scott City, Kansas. Pictured is a postcard postmarked 1946, showing a sign in front of the building that reads "Kansas NYA Project."
