Edmondson Hall, originally the west wing of the Men's Dorm, is now part of Collins Living-Learning Center, a dorm and classroom building for undergraduate students at Indiana University. It was constructed by the Federal Works Agency (FWA) in 1940.

Woodburn Hall was the first home of IU's School of Business (now the Kelley School of Business, located in Hodge Hall). Woodburn now houses the African Studies and Political Science departments. It  also contains two murals by Thomas Hart Benton.

The US 190 Bridge at the Colorado River conveys U.S. Highway 190 over the Colorado River at the Lampasas and San Saba county line west of Lometa, linking the cities of Lampasas and San Saba, the county seats. The Texas Highway Department (THD) designed the bridge. The bridge was constructed by Cage Brothers & L.A. Turner between 1939 and 1940. In 1940, the Work Projects Administration (WPA) was involved in concrete channelization along the lower portion of Brea Creek in Fullerton, CA. As with most of the rivers in Southern California, development came under the Flood Control Act of 1936 following massive destruction from intense flooding in the early 20th Century. Fullerton had a history of flooding with large floods in both 1900 and 1916. These prompted the development of the Orange County Flood Control District in 1927. The hewn-limestone school in Lometa, Texas consists of two wings and a central gymnasium. It was the first school building in Lometa to have indoor plumbing. The Works Projects Administration did most of the work and the Public Works Administration provided partial funding under docket W1950.

Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Co. 589 came to this newly acquired property from McCormick's Creek State Park. All that remains of the CCC Camp are scattered concrete foundations.

Administration (WPA) completed the shelter house in 1940. The structure is classified as parks rustic.

The former Thackerville School in Thackerville, Oklahoma was constructed as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project. Today, three buildings exist on the campus; however, none of them bear resemblance to other WPA school buildings in southern Oklahoma (although at least one source asserts otherwise). A modest 'memorial' to the old school building, which features its shield-shaped WPA plaque, can be found in front of the current high school on U.S. 77.

"The Harrah school gym is unique because it is constructed of poured concrete. This is a two-story gym building with a barrel roof. The building is painted white and the windows have been covered with metal siding painted blue. Only a couple of window units have a small window remaining. "The building was constructed in 1939-1940 with a WPA appropriation of $84,078. A brick extension has been added to the gym on both the east and west sides. The building appears to still be in use."
