Description
A grade school in Effingham, Kansas was constructed with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The building now serves as the Atchison County Community Schools District Office. The PWA provided a $16,200 grant for the project, whose total cost was $35,896. Work started in Oct. 1938 and was completed in Mar. 1939.
