Description
The historic post office in Rensselaer, New York was constructed as a federal Public Works Administration (PWA) project with Treasury Department funds. The building, which was constructed in 1935-6, has since been re-purposed as the town’s police department building.

I believe I may have an old roll-top desk that came from the Rensselaer post office. I’m wondering if there are any photos pre-WW2 of the inside which might show the desk belonging to the postmaster.
