Description
The Work Projects Administration (WPA) conducted a project to improve the former Lawson General Hospital in Chamblee, Georgia. Per a Department of Defense (DoD) survey, the WPA did the following:
- Improve grounds; Project No. 265-2-34-12; Cost: $68,875.00; Sponsor: Commanding Officer, Lawson General Hospital, U.S. Army
The former Lawson General Hospital, long decommissioned, is now “the location of the IRS and CDC Chamblee Campus,” and the hospital structures appear to have been long since demolished.
