Description
The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built the Lane County Community School Stadium in Dighton, Kansas. The stone stadium was built by the WPA two years after the new school was built by the Public Works Administration. The stadium originally included extras, such as horseshoe pits and tennis courts, but these were taken out with a remodeling in the 1970s. The stadium is still in use.
