Description

The Works Progress Administration worked to develop Chahinkapa Park in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Work was completed in 1937.

“The recreation center includes picnic ground equipment, a modern swimming pool, an athletic field, with lighted football gridiron and cinder track and children’s play-ground. The zoo contains many wild birds and animals.”
