Description
The Works Progress Administration (WPA) built sidewalks all around Prescott AZ, including on the 300 block of South Washington Street, between 1936 and 1938.
The WPA sidewalks on S. Washington are in good condition after eight decades. The contributors notes: “These WPA-marked sidewalks [are] located in a “historical” district, and we would like to keep them. The city wants to rip them up.”
