Oklahoma State Route 325
Description
The Work Projects Administration (WPA) project undertook grading and culvert construction efforts in Cimarron County along Oklahoma State Route 325, between Kenton and Boise City. Work occurred from 1939 to 1941. As of 2018 approximately two dozen structures along this stretch of road bear a shield-shaped WPA imprint stamp, including two bridges and more than 20 culverts.
The structures that have been positively identified as having New Deal significance (i.e., a WPA stamp) are posted here. They are designated as in the Oklahoma Depression-era Bridges and Road-Related Resources document cited below. From Boise City toward Kenton, the coordinates of these structures are:
