Description
“The Springer school and gymnasium buildings were constructed by the [Works Progress Administration] WPA in 1936-1938. They are sturdy buildings constructed of native sandstone from the local area.
“The classroom building once had casement windows, eight panes high, with units of five in the front and three on the sides.”
