Description
The Federal Emergency Relief Administration (F.E.R.A.) constructed sidewalks along Concord St. in Maynard, Massachusetts in 1934.
Work continued in subsequent years with the Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.). The sidewalks, according to the town’s Selectmen, “have added greatly to the appearance of the town and safety and comfort of its citizens.”
