Description
The Works Progress Administration (WPA) developed San Francisco’s Potrero Hill Playground during the Great Depression. Located at 22nd and Arkansas Streets, the WPA built children’s area and tennis courts above the housetops overlooking the Bay.–Healy, p. 66.
