The post office contains a carved wooden relief entitled “Welder.” It was created by artist George Kratina in 1942 and funded by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts.

    Hello . . . Wanted to let you know that “Wollaston” Massachusetts is not a separate city/town. It is actually a neighborhood/section within the City of Quincy, Massachusetts. This is not an uncommon error and I’ve often thought it due to Quincy’s Wollaston section having a separate zip code. Whatever the case, this is one of two Massachusetts’ postings you have categorized as “Wollaston” where it should be “Quincy”.

    It is the Wollaston Post Office. There are other post offices in various parts of Quincy but this one is the Wollaston one
