Post Office Mural – Rugby ND

Description

Medium: oil on canvas

Section of Fine Arts mural entitled “Rugby, the Geographical Center of North America.” The work was painted by Kenneth Callahan and completed and installed in 1943. According to the project’s contract, dated May 28, 1942, Mr. Callahan was to be paid $850 for his efforts.
