Post Office Mural – Lewistown IL

Description

The tempera mural “Lewistown Milestones” was painted by Ida Abelman and installed in the Lewistown, Illinois post office in 1941.

The New Deal Art Registry notes that the mural “can be seen 24-7 through a glass window.”
