Description
A Treasury Section of Fine Arts mural entitled “Building the New Road” was painted by Kenneth Evett in 1941 for the Golden post office (now the Downtown Station post office).
The mural is still in place and in good shape. The florescent lighting on it is unfortunate, but there is a very well done display beneath it on the construction of the building.
