Description
The downtown post office and federal building was constructed by the federal Treasury Department in 1937.
The style is Neoclassical Moderne, clad in sandstone-colored brick, with three central vertical elements for the entrance and windows on the facade, faced with white marble.
The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
