Description

Texas A&M’s old creamery building was constructed as a federal Public Works Administration (PWA) project during the Great Depression. The building, whose exact location on campus is presently unknown to Living New Deal, has since been demolished.

The PWA supplied a $12,200 grant toward the $42,251 total cost of the project. Work occurred between August and December 1934.
