Description
The WPA undertook a project to improve what was then known as New York’s City Museum, during the 1930s. Work included:
“Paint interior and exterior, construct exhibition cases, stages, buns, shelves, install ventilating and electrical systems; repair elevators; and make improvements to the grounds of the City Museum in New York City, New York County.”
