Description
The historic U.S. Border Inspection Station at Milltown International Bridge in Calais, Maine was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds. The Neo-Classical facility was completed in January 1939. The facility was altered and later replaced in 2014.

The US Government replaced this border station in 2014.
We often used this crossing back in the mid to late 70s when our softball team had games in St. Stephen and we wanted to avoid long waits at customs. I still can remember Bill Brown who was the varsity basketball coach at Calais manning the station on our return.
