Description
“Greenville School is a ten-room school built in 1937-1938 by the [Works Progress Administration] WPA. It is a long, flat-roofed building constructed of rusticated and coursed native sandstone from the local area.
“The larger window units have been covered with wood paneling, leaving just a small one-over-one window. A shield on the front wall reads ‘USA 1939 WPA Oklahoma’ but it appears to be a replica and not the original shield.
“The website below shows photos of the building as it appeared in 1985, revealing the window units to be triple 9-over-9 windows.”
