Description

A girls’ dormitory building at what was then known as the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind was constructed in 1936 as a New Deal-aided project. The Public Works Administration (PWA) supplied a $34,190 grant for the project, whose total cost was $76,013. The building is located at the northwest end of campus.

It is possible that additional construction was undertaken at the School with federal funds.
