“The work of diverting the water of East Waushacum Pond in Sterling, authorized by Acts of 1934, Chapter 346, was begun July 12, 1935 in co-operation with the town of Clinton as a Federal Emergency Relief Administration Project and was continued in 1936 as a Federal Works Progress Administration Project …”
