Description
PWA project 1212 in Mississippi, the two-story, reinforced concrete building “…may be the best early example of the International style in the state and attracted national attention when it opened” (Mississippi Department of Archives and History). It was featured in both Architectural Forum and The New Yorker magazine when it opened (Preziosi, 2008).
It is alternatively described as Art Moderne (MDAH).
