Canton Intermediate School – Canton CT

Description

Built as Canton’s high school, what is now Canton Intermediate School was constructed as a New Deal project with federal Public Works Administration (P.W.A.) funds. The P.W.A. supplied a $26,860 grant for the project, whose total cost was $98,402. Construction occurred between Sept. 1934 and Apr. 1935.
