• City Park – Bowling Green OH
    After the Wood County Fairgrounds were all but destroyed by a fire in the late 1920’s, the county sold the property to the City of Bowling Green for construction of a park. The park retains some features built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1935, including a stone shelter and a stone wall along the south border of the park – now Conneaut Street – that originally separated the park from the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad track.   • Sewers - Bowling Green OH
    A sizable sewer construction project was undertaken in Bowling Green, Ohio with the assistance of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $200,300 loan and $74,975 grant toward the eventual $276,675 total cost of the project. Work occurred between November 1934 and November 1935. (PWA Docket No. OH 2236)
