Two modern bridges with metal railings cross the lake near its center... The current bridge is a modern addition to the lake as is the picnic shelter. Research suggests that this was a CWA project completed in 1934."
- Pittsburg Street Department Building - Pittsburg KS"Brick structure resting on a concrete foundation has a front-gable roof with a stepped parapet. Original window and door openings are framed by header bricks. Some of the 1/1 windows are square while others are rectangular. A cast stone plaque at the top of the parapet gives the date of construction...The original front entry has been bricked in. Other window openings have been bricked in, reduced in size, or enlarged. This project was constructed using WPA funds. An appropriation of $2,850 was made in September 1935."

Postal operations relocated within downtown Olathe in 1981; the building has housed Olathe's city hall. When the municipal building relocated ca. 2012-15 it became Gurdwara Nanak Darbar Sahib, a Sikh house of worship. A New Deal mural created for the building has since been relocated.
- Post Office and Court House Mural - Fort Scott KSOscar E. Berninghaus painted this Section of Fine Arts oil-on-canvas mural entitled "Border Gateways" in 1937 in the Fort Scott federal courthouse. As of 2007, the federal court room was empty. Access was possible with permission from the post office, housed downstairs. This work is a placid scene showing settlers travelling into the Kansas Territory as a result of the “Enabling Act of Kansas Territory” in 1854. - Post Office and Federal Building - Salina KSThe Salina United States Post Office and Federal Building (c. 1937-1938) is located at 211 W. Iron in Salina, Saline County, Kansas. The two story, flat roofed, limestone building has a northern facade orientation. The building measures approximately one hundred and twenty feet from east to west and one hundred and seventeen feet from north to south. The facade of the building is comprised of three groups of three multipaned, metal windows. These are linearly aligned windows with inset marble panels between the first and second levels.
