Post Office – Sellersville PA

The historic post office building in Sellersville, Pennsylvania was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds and opened in [1935 or 1936]. The building, which houses a New Deal mural in its lobby, is still in use today.

"Carrying the Mail"

The tempera-on-canvas mural “Susquehanna Trail” was painted as a federal Treasury Department Section of Fine Arts project by Harry Sternberg. The work was installed in the lobby of the then-new Sellersville post office in 1937.
