• Post Office - Gresham OR
The post office in Gresham, Oregon was constructed in 1941 with Treasury Department funds. The relatively plain building was "built to permit later additions," and underwent at least one significant expansion during the early 1960s. The cornerstone was laid Apr. 5, 1941 and the 70-foot-long, $95,000 building was dedicated Jul. 26, 1941. The original structure is located at the southeast part of the building, closest to the intersection of W. Powell Blvd. and NW Miller Ave.
