- Business U.S. Highway 79 Underpass - Taylor TXThe Texas Highway Department and the United States Bureau of Public Roads built an underpass in 1939 to separate the grade of U.S. Route 79 and the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad (currently Business U.S. Highway 79 and Union Pacific Railroad) in Taylor, Texas. The Texas Highway Department designed the bridge and L. H. Lacy Company constructed it.
- City Hall (demolished) - Taylor TXTaylor, Texas's former City Hall, "an 11,000-square-foot building on Main Street between Fourth and Fifth streets", was constructed by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1935. The rectangular building, featuring Art Deco details, was used for municipal purposes until 2005. Despite $58,000 in efforts at that time to "repair the roof, clean, paint and put in new windows," the building fell into disrepair and the property was later fenced off. The building was demolished between 2013 and 2015, per Google Street View imagery. The former property is now part of the north side of Heritage Square Park.
- High School Gymnasium (former) - Taylor TXThe Bartlett Tribune and News reported in 1935 that Taylor, Texas's new $35,000 high school gymnasium was financed in part by a PWA grant and loan. The old high school and gymnasium are now part of the Taylor Resource Center, which serves seniors and other community needs.
- Murphy Park Lake Dam - Taylor TXThe WPA constructed this "arch hollow type dam" in what is now Murphy Park in Taylor, TX, during the mid-1930s.
- Sewer Extension - Taylor TXThe WPA worked to extend the sewer system in the town of Taylor, Texas during the mid-1930s.
- Water Tower (demolished) - Taylor TXThe WPA began construction on a "new elevated water storage tank" for the town of Taylor, Texas in early 1936. Replaced in 2009 and dismantled soon after, the old water tower resided just south and west from its replacement on the north side of West 12th Street in Murphy Park. 2009 satellite imagery accessible through Google Earth shows both locations.
