Waterworks Extension - Canadian TX The PWA provided funding for an extension of the waterworks in the town of Canadian, TX.The P.W.A. provided a $17,100 loan and $6,900 grant for the project, whose total cost was $24,160. Work was undertaken in 1934.
"J. H. Gehbauer, the city's engineer for the project, said the last pipe connection was made Tuesday . The new 800-gallon-a-minute pump was expected to be tried out Wednesday.
